GIBO Sensor Urinal Flush Valve

Product Specifications for Remote-Controlled Infrared Control Module

Sensor Urinal Flush Valve – Functional Description

GIBO’s fourth-generation infrared control module for urinal sensors features an imported MCU, the latest 0402 SMT surface-mount technology, and a compact design compatible with most urinal sensor products. All GIBO touchless sanitary ware utilizes Liteon sensing technology for rapid response and zero false triggers. Built-in ultra-low-power energy-saving technology reduces standby current to just 25µA, enabling standard 4-battery operation for over 18 months. The module employs advanced anti-interference algorithms, successfully passing tests against 20 types of light sources and 17 common household appliances, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability.

When a person enters the detection range, the infrared emitter sends a signal that is reflected by the body and received by the infrared receiver. The microcontroller then processes this reflection and triggers the solenoid valve to initiate an automatic flush. The urinal only flushes when a user is within the sensing zone; otherwise, no flushing occurs. Flush programs, duration, and sensing distance are adjustable via the microcontroller or GIBO’s dedicated remote control for sensor faucets/toilets, making it the optimal solution for smart, water-saving public restrooms. As a TOUCHLESS water-saving product requiring no manual operation, this sensor effectively prevents cross-contamination, making it ideal for high-traffic public venues such as schools, railway stations, airports, and bus terminals.

Key Technical Parameters:

 l Operating Voltage: DC 4.5–6.4 V

l  Static Power Consumption: ≤25 µA (≤0.15 mW).

Default sensor detection range at factory settings: 680 mm. Adjustable range: 350–800 mm (measured against a 29.7 cm × 29.7 cm standard reference plate). Detection distance tolerance: ±10% of the rated distance.

Output: Maximum output current 300 mA; output voltage 4.2 V–6 V; output pulse width 35 ms.

Low-Voltage Alarm: When the operating voltage drops to ≤4.5 ±0.1 V, the low-voltage alarm is triggered.

Flush time adjustable from 3s to 23s (factory-set via remote control)

l Distance Stability: Distance variation shall not exceed ±5% when the power supply voltage drops from 6.4 V to 4.5 V, and shall not exceed ±15% when the temperature rises from -20°C to +60°C.

l Operational lifespan: ≥1,000,000 cycles, ≥5 years of continuous operation.

l Environmental Adaptability: The sensor module is housed in an IP65 waterproof enclosure, making it suitable for use in humid bathroom environments.

(1) Operating Ambient Temperature: 0°C–50°C

(2) Applicable ambient relative humidity: 10%–95%

(3) Atmospheric pressure: 86 kPa–106 kPa

l Anti-interference

⑴ Multiple units can be powered on and operated simultaneously without false triggering.

(2) No false triggering caused by interference from common electrical appliances.

(3) Control distance variation remains within ±10% when illuminated obliquely at a distance of 1 meter or more by incandescent or fluorescent lamps.

Vibration Resistance: Amplitude 0.35 mm, frequency 10–55 Hz, three mutually perpendicular axes, 10 sweep cycles; appearance and performance meet requirements

l Impact Resistance: Do not strike or knock

l Sensor urinal controllers should be installed away from direct strong light and avoid facing reflective mirror surfaces

 l Features:

l Normal Flush Mode: When the sensor of the urinal detects continuous presence for more than 2 seconds, the signal is valid, the indicator light flashes once, and the first flush lasts for 2 seconds. After the user leaves, a second flush of 6 seconds is triggered (factory default: 6 s; adjustable range: 3–24 s).

Smart Flush Mode: When a user enters the sensor detection range for 2 seconds, the sensor activates and the indicator light flashes once to initiate the first flush (2 seconds). After the user leaves for 2 seconds, indicating end of use, the second flush (6 seconds) is triggered. If the urinal is used more than twice within one minute, the first flush is skipped and only the second flush is performed.

Factory default setting is Normal Mode.

Manual Flush: Each press of the manual button triggers a flush for the set duration. If the user leaves before the manual flush cycle is complete, no second flush will be initiated.

Remote-Controlled Distance Adjustment:

Use the remote control within 0.3 to 1 meter directly in front of the sensor module controller. The buttons are active when the indicator light on the remote for sensor-operated sanitary ware is illuminated (keep the remote facing the controller; wait for the light to turn off before making a second adjustment). Press button "1" to extend the sensing distance by 5–8 cm per press, or press button "2" to shorten the faucet's sensing distance by 5–8 cm per press. When the maximum or minimum distance is reached, the indicator light flashes at 1 Hz for 3 seconds. The adjusted distance is stored in the chip’s memory; settings are automatically saved during power loss and do not require re-adjustment upon power restoration.

Remote-Controlled Flush Duration Adjustment:

Press "3" to extend the second flush duration of the sensor urinal. Each press increases the flush time by 1.2 seconds (adjustable range: 3–25 seconds). The controller indicator light flashes once to confirm each setting. When the maximum duration is reached, the indicator flashes at 1 Hz for three seconds.

Press the "4" key to shorten the second flush duration for sensor urinals and the flush duration for sensor squat pans. Each press reduces the flush time by 1.2 seconds (setting range: 3–25 seconds). A single flash of the controller indicator light confirms a valid setting; when the shortest duration is reached, the indicator flashes at 1 Hz for 3 seconds.

l Press the "5" key to toggle between normal and water-saving modes for sensor urinals and sensor squat pans. The setting is confirmed by the controller indicator light flashing at 1 Hz for 3 seconds.
