Troubleshooting Unresponsive Sensor Faucets

What to do if your Sensor Faucet is not responding? What causes poor sensor performance in touchless sanitary ware?

GIBO touchless sanitary ware operates using a microcontroller that works on the principle of infrared emission and reception. When the microcontroller receives a reflected signal from the infrared sensor, it controls the solenoid valve to perform the specified action, thereby opening or closing the water flow.

If the sensor response is slow, refer to the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Wipe the sensor window with a clean soft cloth to ensure it is free of dirt and stains.

  2. Check if the detection range is too short and adjust it to an appropriate length.

  3. Rule out self-sensing issues with the touchless sanitary ware. For details, see "Why Your Touchless Sanitary Ware Isn't Releasing Water".

All GIBO series touchless sanitary ware feature remote control adjustment for detection range. Contact our sales consultant (4006622163) to purchase the dedicated remote control for adjusting the detection range and enjoy the best product experience!
