GIBO Toilet Sensor Functional Description

How the Toilet Sensor Works

GIBO toilet sensors operate on the same infrared reflection principle as other sensor sanitary ware. When a user enters the preset detection range (the infrared zone above the squat pan), the emitted infrared beam is blocked and reflected by the body to the receiver tube. The microcontroller within the integrated circuit processes this signal and activates the pulse solenoid valve, which opens the cartridge to release water according to the command. Unlike urinal flush valves, GIBO toilet sensors enter a standby state upon detecting presence without flushing immediately. Flushing begins 3 seconds after the user leaves the infrared detection range. Flush duration and closing intervals are governed by preset commands.

1. Smart Water-Saving: The sensor intelligently selects between single and dual flush modes based on usage frequency to minimize water waste. High-frequency use triggers a 2-second I-segment flush, while low-frequency use activates a 7-second II-segment Dual Flush.

2. Hygienic and Convenient: The sensor automatically controls water flow, ensuring thorough rinsing with no residual odor, effectively preventing cross-contamination of bacteria
3. Automatic Distance Adjustment: The ultra-compact circuit design, powered by a microprocessor, automatically adjusts the sensing range based on the operating environment—no manual calibration required.
4. Smart Odor Prevention: When the urinal remains unused for an extended period, the flush valve automatically triggers a flush every 24 hours to prevent the P-trap water from evaporating and causing odor backflow.
5. Easy Maintenance: Built-in flow control valve and filter screen allow non-professionals to easily adjust water flow and clean the filter.
6. Installation: Exposed wall-mounted design, ideal for all types of renovation projects.
7. Smart Power Saving: Controlled by a low-power chip with a built-in energy-saving mode for ultra-low power consumption and enhanced efficiency (DC models use 4 AA alkaline batteries, with a quiescent current ≤60μA).
8. Low Voltage Alert: When battery voltage drops below 4.6V, the red indicator flashes to signal battery replacement
9. Power Supply Options: AC, DC, or Dual AC/DC power supply available; the dual mode supports automatic soft switching.
