1. Choose a professional sensor sanitary ware manufacturer: a specialist supplier ensures maximum reliability of the sensor module and solenoid valve for long-term use; look for third-party quality certification, established production capacity, proven scale, technical expertise, and a track record of engineering projects.

2. After-Sales Service: Choose brands and manufacturers with proven after-sales service capabilities. It is not recommended to select sensor shower systems from the same brand as your sanitary ware, as sanitary ware manufacturers primarily focus on toilets, showers, and accessories, and generally lack the qualifications for producing sensor showers. Sensor showers offered by these sanitary ware brands are typically OEM products from specialized manufacturers. Specialized manufacturers have established service networks and can generally guarantee 24-hour on-site support.

3. Appearance Requirements: The faucet body and shower head must be cast from solid brass, with a smooth, high-gloss finish that passes the 24-hour acidic salt spray test. Reputable products meet strict plating process standards and pass salt spray testing; surfaces must be free of burrs, pinholes, and oxidation spots. Avoid purchasing zinc alloy faucet bodies.

4. Choose concealed or surface-mounted products based on piping and site conditions. Concealed installations typically require secondary construction with an embedding depth of 10–12 cm; surface-mounted products can be installed directly at the water pipe location. A main pipe diameter of 6/8 inch (DN15) or larger is recommended.

5. Select the appropriate sensor shower based on the facility’s management model; for pay-per-use venues, choose an IC-card sensor shower that can integrate with existing campus smart-card systems.

6. Since sensor showers operate in humid bathroom environments, moisture resistance of the sensor module and overall unit performance is critical. Inquire about the infrared sensor’s fog-penetration capability, as most market-available sensor showers have weak anti-fog interference protection, leading to detection failures.
