Troubleshooting Sensor Sanitary Ware: No Flush and Low Flow Issues

Troubleshooting: Sensor Sanitary Ware Not Flushing or Low Flow

If a fault occurs during the commissioning or use of the toilet sensor, first check whether the water supply and power supply (batteries) are functioning correctly. If the issue is not caused by water or power supply problems, remove the sensor panel and refer to the "Common Fault Troubleshooting for Sensor Sanitary Ware" below. For component names and locations, please refer to the "Exploded View of Sensor Sanitary Ware Products." If the fault persists after following the troubleshooting steps, cannot be resolved, or the cause remains unknown, close the angle stop valve on the toilet sensor flush valve, then contact GIBO After-Sales Service at 4006622163 for repair guidance or to request service inspection.

(2) No Flush (Troubleshooting Steps)

(1) Check the water supply valve and flow adjustment knob

Check that the inlet hose angle stop valve is open. Inspect the solenoid valve flow adjustment knob on the squat pan sensor; if closed, open both the inlet water supply valve and the solenoid valve flow adjustment knob. (Turn the adjustment knob counter-clockwise until fully open.) (See illustration)

(2) Check the power supply or battery

If the toilet fails to flush, check or replace the power supply (AC adapter or batteries) when the sensor indicator light does not blink during use (under normal conditions, the red indicator blinks once after 3–4 seconds of detection) or blinks continuously.

(3) Check the sensor module

Inspect Squat PanSensor-Operated ToiletCheck whether the sensor module is functioning correctly. In normal operation, when a person enters the sensing range, the indicator light will flash for approximately 3–4 seconds to confirm detection; after the person leaves, the sensor triggers a flush with a 3–4 second delay.

◆ (2) Low flow rate / low flush volume (Troubleshooting steps)

(1) Check the water supply valves and flow control knobs

Check that the water supply valves are fully open and verify that the water pressure is within the normal range (minimum pressure should exceed 0.14 MPa). Ensure the flow adjustment knob on the solenoid valve of the sensor-operated squat pan is in the fully open position (rotate the knob counterclockwise until the valve is fully open).

(2) Check the water supply piping and filtration system for blockages.

Check the water supply lines and filtration system for blockages caused by sand, debris, or other foreign matter.

(3) Inspect the rubber diaphragm of the solenoid valve piston in the squat pan sensor

    Use an adjustable wrench to remove the solenoid valve cover and extract the solenoid valve piston. Inspect the rubber diaphragm of the squat pan sensor's solenoid valve piston for deformation, damage, or cracking. If any defects are found, replace the solenoid valve piston with a new one to resolve the issue.
