GIBO Sensor Faucets: Installation and Commissioning Guidelines
★ After installation of concealed sensor urinals and sensor toilets is complete, commission the flush valve.
★ Ensure correct installation and secure contact of the power adapter and all waterproof connectors (for sensor sanitary ware DC waterproof plugs, rotate after connection to ensure a proper seal);
★ Ensure the battery box screws are tightly secured to prevent moisture ingress. Do not reverse battery polarity, and do not mix new and old batteries.
★ Once the solenoid valve wiring and power supply wiring are correctly connected, the sensor’s red indicator light begins to flash. The unit is ready for normal operation once the red light flashes.
★ Urinal sensor defaults to dual-flush mode with a 2s detection confirmation time; squat pan sensor defaults to single-flush mode with a 6s detection confirmation time.
★For sensor urinals and sensor toilets, water starts flowing immediately upon detection. If the water supply is not connected, you can verify whether the sensor is operational by listening for the solenoid valve’s opening and closing sounds.
★ For newly commissioned projects, continuous water flow is most often caused by residual construction debris or impurities blocking the plumbing. Please followTroubleshootingClear the obstruction to restore normal operation.
