Pre-Installation Guidelines for Sensor Sanitary Ware

Tools and Materials Required for Sensor Faucet Installation:

Open-end/adjustable wrench, tape measure, pipe wrench, try square, spirit level, pliers, Phillips/flat-head screwdrivers, PTFE thread seal tape, electrical wires, wire stripper, electrical insulation tape, conduit, etc.

Pre-Installation Notes:

● Do not install the sensor directly opposite reflective surfaces, such as mirrors, polished stainless steel panels, or other mirror-like objects.

● Do not install where direct or reflected sunlight may enter the sensor window.

● Do not install near strong ultraviolet light or electromagnetic fields.

● Flush the water supply lines before installation to prevent product performance failure.

●Before installing the product, lay out the water supply pipes and power cables according to the dimensions shown in the installation diagram of the product manual.

●Before installing the product, open the water supply valves to flush out any debris from the pipes. Proceed with sensor installation only after ensuring the lines are completely clear of impurities.

● Install a dedicated main power switch and water supply valve for each restroom. A restroom-specific filter valve is recommended to facilitate maintenance.

● When installing a sensor-operated squat pan flush valve, the inlet pipe diameter is DN25. Ensure the main supply pipe diameter is ≥ DN32.

● When daisy-chaining multiple sensors on the same pipe, calculate the supply pipe diameter, water pressure, and flow rate according to the technical parameter specifications. (Recommendation: If installing three or more squat pan sensors in a single restroom, use a main supply pipe with an inner diameter greater than 38 mm.) Ensure proper installation of the series connection to prevent insufficient flush volume that may compromise cleaning performance. Generally, a DN32 pipe supports approximately six WC sensors and six urinal sensors operating simultaneously. If the number of squat pans and urinals exceeds this capacity, configure the main pipeline as DN40.

● Please keep the product user manual or installation guide supplied with the sensor products in a safe place and provide it to the end-user (company or individual) for future maintenance and servicing.

The above instructions apply to the installation reference of sensor faucets, sensor urinals, toilet sensors, sensor showers, and other sensor sanitary ware requiring concealed installation.
