1. Will a depleted battery cause the sensor faucet to malfunction or fail to shut off water?
A: The GIBO Smart Sensor Faucet is powered by a 500mAh lithium battery and features low-voltage protection. When the battery voltage drops below 3.2V, the solenoid valve automatically closes to stop water flow (ensuring the last shutoff is completed). Additionally, when the battery is low, the LED indicator flashes rapidly upon detection to prompt users to replace the battery. A built-in lithium battery protection circuit maintains a minimum voltage of 3.0V; if the voltage falls to 3.0V, output stops automatically to prevent damage to the battery under low-power conditions.
2. Does the GIBO Sensor Faucet need to be removed for charging? How long does a full charge take?
A: The GIBO Smart Sensor Faucet uses a standard Micro USB interface for charging. You can charge it using a power bank connected via a data cable without removing the faucet. Alternatively, you may unscrew the GIBO Sensor Faucet from its base to charge it directly. A full charge typically takes 1–1.5 hours. During charging, the red indicator light in the window flashes; once fully charged, the green light remains steadily on.
Note: Ensure the kitchen faucet handle is closed before charging or removing the GIBO Sensor Faucet.
