How to Tell When Sensor Faucet Batteries Are Low
If your DC-powered sensor faucet requires frequent battery changes or fails to meet the lifespan stated in the manual, h

DC-powered sensor sanitary ware batteries may not reach the lifespan stated in the product manual, requiring frequent replacement. How can you determine if the battery is depleted?
1. GIBO sensor sanitary ware typically uses one of three power supply modes: 220V AC mains power, DC6V from four AA (size 5) or four AAA (size 7) batteries, or a dual AC/DC system.
2. The battery life specified in the manual refers to theoretical values tested under standard laboratory conditions at GIBO, based on specific parameters such as usage duration, operation time per cycle, water pressure, and water quality; actual performance may vary slightly. Under normal conditions (calculated at 200 activations per day), the actual battery life for DC-powered sensor faucets, sensor urinals, and sensor squat pans can reach up to 18 months. GIBO employs advanced low-power imported microcontroller chips, multiple software anti-interference algorithms, and optimized smart energy-saving technology, achieving a theoretical battery life of 300,000 cycles.
3. GIBO sensor sanitary ware features built-in automatic power-off protection and low-battery alerts. In the event of a power outage or when voltage drops below the protection threshold, the sensor automatically forces the valve closed, ensuring 100% water cutoff after the last use (compliant with CJ/T194-2014 standards for touchless sanitary fixtures). When the battery voltage falls below 4.6V, the LED on the sensor window flashes continuously to warn the user, after which the fixture automatically closes the solenoid valve to prevent water waste.
4. If you place your hand near the sensor window and the indicator light does not flash for an extended period, the battery is completely depleted. Please replace the battery promptly (we recommend using reputable brands such as Nanfu, Double鹿 (Shuanglu), Energizer, or Duracell).
