Troubleshooting Sensor Faucets: No Water Flow or Continuous Running

Why does the water not flow when it should, or keep running when it shouldn't?
Erratic activation or continuous water flow in sensor sanitary ware is mostly caused by environmental interference affecting the sensor. Please troubleshoot step-by-step as follows; if the issue persists, contact GIBO service personnel (400-6622-163) for on-site assistance.

1. Direct sunlight may cause false triggering of the sensor. Adjusting the sensor's installation angle can resolve this issue.

2. In some locations, lighting fixtures may interfere with the sensor. Change the ambient light source or replace the fixtures to eliminate interference. Please provide specific details about your lighting parameters so we can upgrade our software's anti-interference capabilities promptly, ensuring better performance for GIBO products (GIBO products have passed testing against twenty types of light sources, are resistant to direct sunlight interference, and offer superior anti-interference performance; they can be used confidently in most settings except under special lighting conditions).

3. Sensor squat pans may experience self-triggering issues, typically flushing automatically when doors open but failing to activate when users are present. Check if the partition space is too small (less than 110cm) or if partitions use highly reflective materials (such as glass or stainless steel), which can cause self-triggering. Adjusting the detection range can solve this problem.

All GIBO product series feature a continuous flow protection function: if water flows continuously beyond the set time limit, the sensor automatically shuts off the water to conserve resources!
