What causes low or no water flow in sensor sanitary ware? What leads to a solenoid valve failing to close tightly, resulting in continuous dripping?
Low flow rate may be caused by:
1. The diaphragm or piston of the solenoid valve is stuck or blocked by foreign objects or impurities;

2. The built-in filter screen in the manual pressure regulating valve is stuck or blocked by foreign objects or impurities;

3. The regulating valve was not adjusted promptly after the water supply network pressure decreased (some models do not include a regulating valve; please consult the seller before purchase).
Please adjust the regulating valve to the maximum flow setting.
A solenoid valve that fails to close tightly or drips continuously is due to:
1. Installation personnel may have reversed the inlet and outlet ports of the solenoid valve. Simply swap the inlet and outlet connections.
2. Poor tap water quality, with frequent entry of fine impurities into the solenoid valve, affecting valve closure.
All GIBO solenoid valves feature self-cleaning functionality, effectively preventing blockage by impurities that could render sensor sanitary ware products inoperative, and preventing leaks and continuous running water.
3. Tap water pressure is outside the operating range.
If pipeline pressure is very low, below 0.05MPa, the product can still open and close normally, but there may be dripping after shutoff. In this case, simply close the faucet handle.
The applicable water pressure range for kitchen sensor faucets, sensor taps, bathroom home-use sensor faucets, commercial sensor faucets, sensor urinals, and sensor showers is 0.05–0.8MPa, ensuring normal operation (typical municipal water pressure is approximately 0.15–0.2MPa, depending on local network conditions);
The recommended water pressure range for sensor toilet flush valves, smart bidet seats, and smart toilets is 0.3–0.8MPa for optimal flushing performance. Pressure below 0.3MPa does not affect normal opening/closing or flushing functions but may reduce flush volume and instantaneous flow rate of sensor flush valves.
